New varieties of parsnips to meet farmer and consumer demands

We continually assess our Parsnip varieties to meet with the demands of the farmer and
consumer.

Our new introductions are Viking F1 and Warrior F1 offering a very white colour and well filled root shape.

Parsnip Javelin remains the most successful commercial F1 hybrid available. It has outstanding field holding capacity meaning it can be cropped almost continually from July to June. Its slender wedge shape and shallow crowns make it ideal for the pre-pack market.

The flexibility and vigorous habit of our varieties are ideal for the convenience sector which is seeing growth in ready prepared fresh and frozen parsnips and parsnip crisps.

The high yields for growers from our varieties provide the security of supply for processors.
